Florida Emerging Art’s July Call theme is “Scenes of Compassion”

The gallery provides a virtual space for emerging artists and this month is curated by Arcell Salunga @arcell.salunga

What is the point of selfishly striving for things that only satiate (if ever) the ego (it doesn’t)?
Whereas compassion for all sentient beings is the cure for the “me,me,me” behavior that blocks the bridge of genuine connection. Being able to selflessly see someone in need, at any moment and sincerely act on it with a wholehearted intention is one of the greatest things to occur on planet earth.
